The PCGN is a group of committed garden enthusiasts who work together to advocate for the increased presence of community gardens in the City & County of Peterborough. We seek to connect people with land and create conditions for gardeners and communities to flourish. We envision community gardens as a key tool for food security, ecological integrity and community building. For the past year, the PCGN has held monthly meetings in which we have discussed what role the network should play in the community, how to involve a greater diversity of key partners and of course increase awareness of and access to community gardens throughout Peterborough City and County. The Peterborough Community Garden Network is only as strong as our members. If you are interested in learning more about the Network or community gardens in our region, becoming involved, contributing resources, skills or knowledge or even would just like to be added to our mailing list, please contact us.
