About Us:

The Conservation Council of Ontario is a provincial association of conservation leaders, including individuals, organizations, businesses and municipalities. Our mission is to help Ontario become a conserver society. That's a tough challenge for any one organization, and so our principal strategy is to find ways to be a catalyst for building a united conservation movement.

GreenLeader is a self-assessed rating system that provides a simple and common way for all sizes and types of businesses, organizations, and governments to show their commitment to being a green leader. It allows the public (customers, clients, or constituents) an easy way to compare commitments and make informed choices on who they wish to support. The GreenLeader rating system is used throughout the Great Green Directory, and can be used for community-based Buy Green campaigns.
