Funding Available:

Cornwall's Rehabilitation Grant Program

More info: http://www.cornwall.ca/en/planningandpermits/heartofthecity.asp

The City of Cornwall is offering landowners and developers who undertake redevelopment projects a grant to reimburse the property tax increases which results from the redevelopment project. The landowner/developer is responsible for paying the full cost of the redevelopment as well as the annual increase in property tax which results. The City will then rebate the landowner/developer all or part of the municipal portion of the tax increase over an established 'base' assessment and tax liability.
